I have lots to smile about this January, I’ve managed to meet up with  lots of dear friends, who I’ve not seen for along time. I’m planning a Arts for Health drawing project at the Quad in Derby which will be a number of workshops , I’m really excited about it. Arts for Health is an area I’ve always wished to get involved with, so there’s another ticked box on my wish list!

Just before Christmas I have started to create some more secret friends which I’m enjoying, I’m in the 2nd phase of development…. but I’m afraid I can’t say any more than that at the moment.

Holiday fish & chips

I’m really enjoying keeping a Doodle Diary, I write about the days events and doodle

illustrations to go with the topic. I find it a comfort after a really good day or a sad grey day….

I’d like to share with you some pages from my Diary that I did on holiday following on from the

previous post!

If you ever stop on North Morte farm , do try Miles Fresh fish and Chips there the yummeist Fish & Chips I’ve ever had.

Combesgate Beach is a lovely secluded beach, located at the far right-end side of Woolacombe next to Mortehoe.

We had one relaxing  ’Sunny Time’  that afternoon on this beach, whilst my husband was fighting the waves -I was either ‘splodging’ in the sea, in other words paddling in the sea in the sea, looking in rock pools, sketching, drawing in the sand and taking pictures for my blog…..building up a big appetite for  a table booked at the ‘Rockleigh’ in Mortehoe  www.rockleighhouse.com

My Husband & I chose the same from the Menu and we both had tasted  the best pudding we have ever had A little ginger pudding with brandy sauce and clotted cream! DeEliIIOcious ….Yum yum – Definately worth a visit it Rocks!!!!!

Over the weekend I  received in the post- the Scans of my originals,  I’m going to produce cards and prints from them and hope to sell them at the exhibition.… here’s a sneak preview and fingers crossed I manage to get everything done before then.
